A Family Business Built On Passion, Quality & Tradition

Mangla Catering was founded in 1992 by Mohammed Sulman Khan, whose lifelong passion for cooking turned into a thriving family business. His journey began at just 16 years old, working as a cook in a village in Pakistan, where he developed his culinary skills and love for traditional flavours.

After moving to the UK, he gained invaluable experience working in some of Bradford’s top Asian restaurants, mastering his craft before taking the leap to start his own venture. Originally known as Festival Catering, the business quickly built a reputation for exceptional food, reliable service and authentic cuisine.

Since those humble beginnings, Mangla Catering has grown into one of the most trusted names in the industry. With a dedicated team of skilled chefs, event coordinators and catering professionals, we have enhanced our production capabilities, improved our processes and continued to raise the standard of our service.

Over the years, our commitment to quality and excellence has allowed us to cater for over 5,000 functions, from intimate family gatherings to large-scale weddings, corporate events and special occasions. We have also invested in modern kitchen facilities, helping us prepare and deliver high-quality meals with precision, consistency and care.

Today, Mangla Catering continues to honour Mohammed Sulman Khan’s vision, ensuring every dish reflects the same passion that started it all. As we look to the future, we remain dedicated to upholding the values that built our success while embracing innovation, growth and new opportunities.
